Q. What is On-line Banking?

Online Banking enables you to easily connect Microsoft Office Accounting with leading financial institutions so that you can automatically download online account balances and transactions saving you time, and providing you with better business insight.

Q. How much does Online Banking cost?

Online banking fees are set directly by the financial institutions. If you have questions regarding the online banking fee structure please contact your financial institution directly.

Q. What type of Online Banking connectivity does Office Accounting Support?

Office Accounting supports two types of online banking connectivity:

Import a file from your financial institution.
A significant number of financial institutions currently offer Microsoft Money files as a download option. You can download this Microsoft Money file (.ofx file format) and import it directly into Office Accounting.  All of your banking information appears right within the application so you don't have to waste time on data entry.

In order to get started, log in to your financial institutions web site, download the Microsoft Money file (.ofx file format) and follow these instructions on how to import this file into Office Accounting. If you are unable to locate the Microsoft Money file on your financial institutions web site please contact them directly. Also, please note that Office Accounting does not support the .qif file format.

Direct Connect to your financial institution. The below list of certified financial institutions fully support direct online banking connectivity. Direct Connect enables you to automatically download online account balances and transactions as well as transfer funds and pay bills right from within Microsoft Office Accounting 2007. To setup your financial institution with a direct connection, please follow these instructions.

Q. Does my bank work with Office Accounting?

In order to find out if your financial institution is supported please click here. If you don't see your financial institution listed, please revisit the list periodically as new banks are added on a regualar basis.

Q. Can I import Microsoft Money (.ofx) files into Office Accounting?

Yes. You can import a Microsoft Money file (.ofx file format) directly into Office Accounting.
